With the new satellite service Sky Muster®, residents living across rural and regional Australia can now communicate with family across the country through social media, instant messaging and video chat.
Activ8me are the first ISP to connect 10,000 customers to the nbn® Sky Muster® Satellite Service
The launch of the second nbn® satellite known as Sky Muster® II is expected to further help rural internet connectivity in Australia by working with the first Sky Muster® satellite in beaming down satellite signals to ground control operations.
Residents of Tailem Bend were able to experience the new Sky Muster® Satellite during the Sky Muster® Satellite Roadshow that was organised by the nbn®. The Sky Muster® Satellite Roadshow is set to head for Kangaroo Island next.
Another milestone achieved for Activ8me: 5000th Sky Muster® installations.
